I'd like to thank you for your positive response on the MHEG-5 Users
Group. In the meantime, I have asked "AltaVista" and some other WWW
Search engines to look for the MUG. It is already in there (query
"MHEG-5 User Group"). And, I would like to remind you to send URLs or
project descriptions which you want to see in the MUGs Links page.
As described in the WWW site, a "core" team will be established. This is
my idea to support the management and maintainance of the site.
Currently, Wataru, Andreas and myself are the "core" team. There is a
own mail list (mheg-ug-core@fokus.gmd.de). The exact task of the core
team will be defined later, there is no special secret behind it. These
folks will have to review the site from time to time and organize the
updates, so, there is no advantage, only more responsibility :-(

Thanks for this offer. I think, demand for this may evolve from the
group in the next time. As far as I am concerned, I may not attend the
upcoming meeting in Tokyo, due to personal time schedule. But this
should not be a drawback for anyone else.
If other developers want to be on the maillist, you may just send a
message to the core team. Perhaps you can tell other folks of this site.
However, in the next days I am out of office and there will be no
further update of the site.
So long,
- Klaus
