it's done now! By using the rm -rf UNIX command (and no full backup
before) all the 30 MB of old stuff related to MHEG from our WWW site
have been removed. There is only a archive of the mails left, and some
of the magic entry points are now pointing to MUG.
I think we have had some good work hidden in the removed files, and it
is surely one example of international cooperation at work. Ok, I will
stop now this sentimental journey, and come back to the future. But
before, thank you all for participation at the VGroup and previous work.
The maillists mheg5-verification and mheg5is have been closed and do now
contain a redirection to mheg-ug@fokus.gmd.de. Therefore, I have
installed the recent "typo/bugfixes" from Wataru and Robert to this
archive. We may want to extract the editors instructions here to a
document which we can pass to the ISO machine. As far as I know, Tom
Schwengler as editor will receive a Proof-Copy before print. Perhaps you
can take care of that, Tom?
The MUG is up and running. The most recent updates include a link to
CSELT's Armida project and a reference to SNACC/. See

Guido Grassel has joined the core team, which more or less completes
this group for now, since we do not have a real mandate to fullfill.
