perhaps one of you in going to IFA in Berlin (a quite large consumer
electronic fair). You may want to visit hall 6.3 , the so-called
"Technisch Wissenschaftliches Zentrum".
You can find a booth of the GLUE Project, featuring a TV with an integrated
PC with a DVB board. We are running an MHEG engine and some applications
with DSMCC video and a EPG, which actually tunes the DVB board.
The set of resident programs used for this was already suggested for the
most recent DAVIC CFP.
Actually, the EPG can be seen at some other locations as well in 6.1 and 4
and another locaction in 6.3 (TeleHome). But MHEG experts and people for
the detailed questions are in 6.3/GLUE only.
Something like this setup is intended to go to the Interactive as well. I
have no details right now and let you know later.
