I have some questions on DAVIC's resident program (DAVIC 1.3 Part 9
9.2.12.1). Any help would be most appreciated.
1. "beginSearch" parameter in SearchSubString & SearchandExtractSubStr
These is no explicite explanation on this parameter. I assume it
specifies the position where string search starts. Is this assumption
correct?
If so, should the parameter be specified on an octet basis or double
octet basis depending on "octetLengthSearch"?
2. "stringPosition" parameter in SearchSubString
Does this parameter return the position on an octet basis or double
octed basis depending on "octetLengthSearch"?
