here are some news from the MHEG-5 Maintainance Task force.
We have mounted a new document at the MHEG-UG, which is a summary of
additional issues to resolve, including recommendations. The document was
edited by Andreas Kraft, many thanks for piece of work! Please visit the MUG

Additionally, I want to point out that these issues are open for discussion
via Mail. An face-2-face MTF AdHoc Meeting is scheduled for February 12/13
at GMD FOKUS, please refer to

I would welcome "registration" for this AdHoc. Since the previous call I did
receive some, but not very much response. However, I have decided together
with the Co-Editor Andreas Kraft to host the meeting anyway. The
"registration" is important for the sizing of the room and the social event
(just in case that this attracts the people ...)
The purpose of the meeting is to prepare the MTF document which will be
discussed and perhaps approved at the next ISO meeting, hosted by NOKIA in
the very north of Finland. Please note that this meeting has moved in time
and place, please refer to the updated calling notice from Tom "Convenor"
