Dear Colleagues,

this is a very short notice about the state of the art of the MTF work
here in Berlin.

We have to recognize that it is pretty much to work on - especially when
you want to have the optimal solution for complex problems. The 1.5 days
of scheduled work are not really suficient.

But the good news is that the experts do not really disagree on the
issues, it is all a matter of makeing it fit to the whole thing. We are
quite optimistic!

However, the IRC idea did not work out very good. We have some network
problems here, and the time is too tight, so that the delegates prefer
to work on the issues. So it turns out that face-2-face meetings are
always the best...

I am not sure if we can manage to kick of todays IRC session.

A full report is due for early next week.

- Klaus
