The 2nd MHEG-5 Workshop will be held on the 18th Jan. 1999 in Tokyo
Japan, co-located with the SC 29/WG 12 meeting. The tentative agenda
include reports on standardization activities, reports from
application domains and topics on MHEG-5 related products/systems.
Further information will be provided soon.
Presentations and/or demos by MHEG-5 implementors are most welcomed. I
would also like to mention that the Japanese broadcast scene is going
rapidly into digital broadcasting, and MHEG-5 is now on the top of
candidate lists for multimedia features. Those interested to give
presentation and/or demo on your product are kindly requested to
contact the organizer at mheg_ws@itscj.ipsj.or.jp .
